How can student activate the plan?

Activating without registration:

You can activate the plan without new registration in the My O! app or by dialing *155*84# if you already registered for the plan Switch to O! Student Online, Switch to O! Student Online PRO or Switch to O! Student Online PRO+ and then switched to another plan;

Activating with registration:

To activate the social plan Switch to O! Student Online, the student should register with the My O! app (available on Play Market and AppStore). If you already have the app on your smartphone, upgrade it. Enter the Plans menu and find the Education item. Choose the tab “For university student” and fill in the special form with the following details:

  • education institution info;

  • region;

  • district;

  • town/city/village;

  • education institution’s name or number;

  • second name;

  • first name;

  • year of birth;

  • tax ID – 14-digit personal number (if available in passport);

  • photos of the passport front and back;

  • photo and no. of the student’s card.

As the application is reviewed, the plan will be activated automatically within a day on the number used for registering the student in the My O! app.

If you can go outdoors, you can activate the plan at an O!Store sales and service office. You will need to provide your passport and student’s card.

  • The first 8 GB of mobile data are provided at the maximum speed for 7 days following the plan’s package renewal. The data speed may be reduced after the package expiry.

  • Once the maximum-speed data package is expired, the Turbo Button with 1 GB, 2 GB, 5 GB or 10 GB option can be activated to use maximum-speed mobile data until the next fee withdrawal. Turbo Button can be activated in the user’s Personal Account, My O! app, via web interface or using the following commands:

Turbo Button 1 GB: *735*1# (30 KGS);

Turbo Button 5 GB: *735*5# (100 KGS);

  • Note! Telecom services are unavailable if the SIM card is not registered. If you fail to register your number within 30 days following the SIM card activation, as per the plan terms, guaranteed number reservation will be available to you for 20 KGS per day, including all taxes, and you can register the number during such reservation period. If the account balance is below 20 KGS, the provider may provide the service to the extent equivalent to the balance. In case of zero balance, your number will be disabled and SIM card deactivated;

  • The Switch to O! Student Online plan is available to all university students in Kyrgyzstan;

  • All incoming calls are toll-free except those made from Kyrgyz landline numbers to the ones with prefix 705 which are charged at 5.99 KGS per talk minute;

  • Outgoing calls to landline numbers in the Kyrgyz Republic are charged at 5.99 KGS per minute except those made to landline numbers +996-312-92-6х-хх and +996-312-92-7х-хх of the Kyrgyz Temir Jolu National Corporation which are charged at 7.49 KGS per minute.

  • The amount of telecom services provided is limited by the balance required to pay for the minimum billing unit;

  • The Voice Mail service is activated automatically upon the Switch to O! Student Online plan activation;

  • The Switch to O! Student Online plan users may choose or replace their numbers as per the My New Number service terms;

  • Outgoing international calls and SMS are available on terms of international communication service provision. The Whole World! service is activated automatically upon activation of the Switch to O! Student Online plan. This service enables low-cost international calls;

  • The ZvonOK! Service is activated once automatically upon any new SIM card activation or switching to or withdrawal of fee of the Switch to O! Student Online plan. The service is provided free of charge within 14 days and then, starting the 15th day, as per standard terms;

  • If your balance is below 105 KGS by the subscription fee withdrawal, the balance will be reserved as part of subscription fee and the missing amount will be displayed in balance with “-“ (negative balance) and all incoming call and internet services will be disabled except calls to toll-free emergency numbers. To resume telecom and internet services, balance should be topped up to the amount sufficient for the subscription fee withdrawal;

  • If the service No Caller ID or No Caller ID+ is active and your balance is below 105 KGS by the subscription fee withdrawal, access to such service will be restricted but the service fee will be withdrawn as per the active service terms. Such services can be deactivated at any time as per the service rules;

  • Use your smartphone as an internet access point and share Wi-Fi to other devices free of charge!;

  • 300 MB of maximum-speed data are reserved automatically by the system to maintain appropriate data provision for this plan. To check actual balance of the maximum-speed data package, deactivate the packet data transmission first, then switch the device to the flight mode, exit the flight mode and then enter the command *728*9# without turning on the packet data transmission.

  • If the data package has not been spent within 7 days, the remaining data MBs will not be forwarded to the next period;

  • In case of switching from the Switch to O! Student Online plan to any other plan offered by the company, the unspent data traffic will expire;

  • The plan allows using/spending the data traffic provided under the primary plan or other services currently used by the subscriber:
    - for upgrade of apps provided with the discounted data traffic and incognito browser use;
    - for using browsers compressing the traffic or using proxy servers, VPN channels or anonymizers;
    - where apps provided with the discounted data traffic are used to open pages containing links, pictures or videos requiring connection to outside resources (outside websites);

  • To ensure continuous internet access, additional 1 GB package will be provided for 25 KGS upon the plan’s main data package expiry:
    The additional 1 GB data package is active until the first attempt to withdraw the plan fee. The unspent additional traffic will expire when the active period ends;
    The additional 1 GB data package is provided immediately upon the plan’s main data package expiry. Once the additional 1 GB data package has expired, other additional data packages will be provided continuously subject to sufficient balance;
    Should the balance be below 25 KGS by the additional data package expiry, another additional 1 GB data package will not be provided;
    To restrict provision of additional 1 GB data packages, visit any Sales and Service Office or dial 707 to contact the help desk service;
    The ban on additional 1 GB data packages can be lifted by dialing *745*1# or in the My O! app;
    Up to 5 additional data packages (1 GB for 25 KGS) can be activated within one day.

  • To ensure convenient access to internet for all its customers, the company applies the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) that suggests fair distribution of the network’s resources during peak busy hours. If a subscriber uses an abnormal data traffic volume and causes inconveniences to other subscribers during the billing period (starting from the day of the latest fee withdrawal), the system will lower the internet access priority for such subscriber until the next fee withdrawal (i.e. until the end of the billing period). Starting from the day of the next fee withdrawal, the internet access priority will resume automatically. The main advantage of such an approach is that the network’s resources are distributed fairly among all subscribers and the maximum possible speed is ensured at the moment.

  • The following services cannot be activated when the Switch to O! Student Online plan is used: 5+5, Your Zero Daily!, Your Unlimited, Your Zero! (7 Days), Your Zero – the Gift!, Your Zero 3, 6 ,12!, Night Unlimited+;

  • The Turbo Button subscription fee and service fees include all taxes; other service fees include VAT but not the sales tax;

  • The billing interval for outgoing calls inside the O! network and outgoing calls to other operators in the Kyrgyz Republic is 10 seconds.

* Numbers of other mobile operators in the Kyrgyz Republic include those of Alpha Telecom CJSC (MEGA), Sky Mobile LLC (Beeline), and KT Mobile LLC (SALAM).

**In case of switching to or activation of a SIM card with this plan, the Mobile Salary service will be activated with a 30-day free trial period. As the free trial period expires, from the 31st day on, the Mobile Salary! service will be provided on standard terms until deactivated by the user.
