Caring for the future: O! celebrated the Children’s Day with good deeds

This year, the Children’s Day was particularly kind and warm in Osh, thanks largely to the O! Mobile Operator.

In cooperation with the Osh Mayor Office, City Department of Labor, Social Support and Migration, and other organizations, a real childhood holiday was organized for children. A grand event took place at the Toktogul Satylganov Park with live music, creative collective performances, and children delightedly participating in contests and sports competitions, dancing and even watching a puppet show. From chess to tug of war, everyone could find something to their liking. The lead characters were the 500 teenagers facing difficult situations in their lives. All of them got presents from O!.

It wasn’t quite the end of good deeds. Right before the celebration, the company organized a charitable fundraising campaign involving the company staff. The company added its own funds to the donations collected, and all that was distributed to families facing hard living conditions including those with children or parents with disabilities and poor. Food sets were purchased and given to them as a token of care, affection and support.

The O! Mobile Operator demonstrated once again how technologies and business could and must be humane. The company not just provides communication and internet services but is also committed to staying around when it is critical helping with warm words and real deeds.

The celebration was sincere and warm. Everyone who took part in that including the O! staff, partners, parents and children become a part of a big and kind cause. Because it is initiatives like this that remind us that everyone of us can give another one some hope and light. We thank all who did not stay aside, who found some time to help, and who shared values such as humanity, responsibility and mutual support with us.
